Remove automatic p paragraph in WordPress

Most of us have encountered this annoying behavior, no doubt about that. For those of you who are not familiar with it, WordPress automatically adds p elements around, for example, your shortcode for inserting videos. And this more often then not adds unwanted white spaces and breaks your layout. Even though there are more then a couple of ways to fix it, the following is my new favorite one.

Paragraph settings

Paragraph settings

There were plugins that solved this issue before. However, they “solved” it site-wide, meaning, you removed your p tags from everywhere. And just maybe, you don’t need that; maybe you’ve solved it some other way on the rest of the site, and if you do this, you’ll have extra work to do (check the rest of the site, see if everything is OK, and if it’s not adjust). Obviously, we don’t want that extra work!

This is why this plugin is my favorite one. It allows you to remove those pesky p elements on each page separately. So you can do that only where you want, and you don’t need to check the rest of your site – you know it stayed the same.

Really cool!
